Common Sync Issues

If your venue is using our Data Sync you will receive email reports about any issues that came up during the last sync. Below are some of the most common errors and how to resolve them:

"Location Name (Location ID) - Polygon 'Polygon ID' does not exist. This location is not correctly attached to the map!"

Mappedin CMS requires the associated Polygon ID to match the value of an existing polygon. You can check the ID of the desired polygon using the ID tool. Once you have confirmed the correct Polygon ID you can either edit the Polygon ID within the Mappedin CMS or change the Polygon ID that the Location is associated with in your own system. "Location Name (Location ID) - Location attached to polygon 'Polygon ID', but polygon has no entrance nodes. It may not be reachable via wayfinding."

Mappedin CMS requires polygons to have nodes attached to them which connect to each other to create the path network. Attach an entrance node to the polygon and then connect it to the rest of the path network. Instructions for editing nodes and paths can be seen here.
