Dashboards
Found within the Mapping Tab, Dashboards contain everything you need to edit the look of your map.
This is where your venue's maps and files are managed. This will already be set-up by our team as part of the creation and launch of your map.
This is where you can edit your map geometry, style and paths. This loads by default and is where most of your map changes will be made.
This is where you can edit and render your 3D maps to reflect any changes you have made in the Maps Dashboard. This is also where you'll add logos and textures if you wish to do so.
NOTE: Any time geometry changes are made you will need to use this mode to update the 3D map.
Menus
Found within the Mapping Tab, Menus contain standard features such as File and Edit options.
Tools
Found within the Mapping Tab, Tools contain commonly used features such as Select and Draw. Each will be described below from left to right.
Select (W) – Enter and edit data associated with polygons and nodes. You can also change colours, labels, and 3D geometry.
Move (Y) - Move, edit, and scale polygons in bulk. While in this mode, hold Shift to select multiple polygons.
Draw (E) – Make geometry and pathing changes.
Canvas Bounds (T) – Apply Canvas Bounds to polygons. Canvas Bounds outline where the store name will appear when using Flat Labels, they are not required if you are using Floating Labels.
ID (I) - Create / edit Polygon IDs.
Split (Q) – Split polygons into smaller shapes.
Drop Downs
Found within the Mapping Tab, Drop-downs let you navigate between floors / buildings as well as hide / lock any layer of the map.
Hiding layers can be a great way to declutter the view to ensure you are only seeing what you need to.
Locking layers can help reduce accidental changes. Good practice is lock any layer that you are not currently working on.
